The Beavers are making their fifth straight conference tournament appearance and has advanced into the championship match in two of the last four years.  This will be the third time in those five years that these two teams meet up at some point in the tournament.  The last time was in 2016 when Coe edged BVU 3-2 in the first round.  They also met up in the championship match in 2014 with Coe sweeping the Beavers in three sets.
