The Buena Vista wrestling team was back in American Rivers Conference action on Friday night for the first time in a month, and the Beavers had a tough time against No. 11 Coe College as the Kohawks rolled to a 42-3 victory

Byron Fleming put BVU in front early on with a 5-2 decision at 125 pounds but then it was all Kohawks from there.  They picked up bonus-point victories in three of the next four weight classes to build a 20-3 lead.

Brad Kerkhoff came up a little short in his upset bid of fourth-ranked Jake Voss at 165 pounds, falling by decision at 7-4.  Coe also had a ranked wrestler at 174 and went on to win 12-5.

Buena Vista is now 1-3 on the year (0-2 A-R-C) and will next take part in the Prairie Wolf Duals on Saturday, December 15, in Lincoln, Neb.
