Buena Vista sophomore Raelinn Arnold kept her hopes alive for earning all-conference accolades for the second straight season as she carded a second straight 83 during the third round of the American Rivers Conference championships on Saturday afternoon at Oneota Golf and Country Club in Decorah, Iowa.
Arnold enters Sunday's final round in a tie for 13th place and is just five shots back of moving into the top-10, which is need to gain all-conference accolades. Emily Kim, who was just three shots out of the top-10 position entering the round dipped into a tie for 21st after a 91 on Saturday and is now 11 shots back. Katleyn Baltes shot a 95 while Nicole Rohner was at 100.
As a team, the Beavers have a good grasp on the sixth-place spot entering the final 18 holes. If the team finishes in that spot after Sunday's round, it would be the program's highest conference team finish since it took sixth in 2011.
Sunday's final round, also at Oneota, is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. The Beaver golfers will go off in the second wave with their tee times taking place at 9:48 a.m.
