Playing in her first event since the season opening weekend, freshman Raelinn Arnold posted a final round 82 on Saturday and moved up to finish 10th overall to lead Buena Vista at the BVU Fall Invite out at Lake Creek Country Club.
A total of 90 golfers took part in the 36-hole, two-day event with Arnold finishing 15 shots back of the individual medalist. Junior Emily Kim bounced back with an 85 after opening with a 91 on Friday and placed 21st after starting the day in 36th.
Nichole Rohner rounded out the line-up for the Beavers, who played down a pair of golfers for the final 18 holes. Rohner was nine shots better than her first round total.
Buena Vista finished 14th overall out of the 16 teams. It will now look to make its final preparations for the start of the Iowa Conference Championshis which tee-off at Cedar Falls next Friday and Saturday (Sept. 29-30) at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course. First round tee-times are scheduled to begin at 9:00am.
