The Buena Vista women's basketball team continues its non-conference road schedule Tuesday night by traveling to Gustavus Adolphus for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off.

About Buena Vista - The Beavers are coming off a third-place finish at the Beth Baker Classic, hosted by Wheaton College, on November 16-17. The team dropped its opening game of the event, 69-64, to Hanover (Ind.) before bouncing back with a thriling 57-56 comeback victory over Macalester in the consolation game. Holly Schneider registered her second double-double of the year with 16 points and 11 rebounds and connected on 1-of-2 free-throw attempts with 0:02 left to lift BVU to the win. She's currently leading the team in scoring with 12.0 points per game and in rebounding (10.5 per game). A total of seven players are averaging at least 6.0 points per contest while the team is chalking up an average of 61.0ppg.
About Gustavus Adolphus - The team went 2-0 during its own Gusties Classic this past week, notching double-digit victories over UM-Morris and Martin Luther, respectively. The Gusties are led through three games in scoring by Kendall Thompson and Paige Richert at 14.0 points per game. The mighty duo also lead the way in rebouning at 4.3 per game apiece. Justine Lee is the third player scoring in double figures at a clip of 10.3 points per contest. As a unit, Gustavus Adolphus is averaging 76.3 points per game with opponents posting an average of 56.7. The Gusties have been successful from beyond the arc, connecting on nearly 40 percent of their attempts and are also grabbing over 33 rebounds per game. Gustavus is coming off a 24-7 campaign from a year ago, including a 14-4 mark in conference play, as it advanced into the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament.
