    TUCSON, Ariz. - The Buena Vista softball team had its six-game win streak snapped with an 11-4 setback against Millikin to begin the day Saturday, but the Beavers overcame an early 3-1 deficit against UW-La Crosse later in the day to score nine unanswered runs to win 10-3.

    TUCSON, Ariz. - Sophomore Brook Linderman blasted a grand slam over the fence in left to put Buena Vista ahead for good against Case Western Reserve, and the Beavers hung on for a 7-5 victory to complete a sweep on its first day playing in the desert.

    ROSEMONT, Ill. - After seeing a three-run lead disappear in the opener of a doubleheader against Lake Forest College on Saturday afternoon, the Beavers were able to recover and win the game in walk-off fashion, 6-5, before later completing the sweep of the Foresters with a 5-1 victory in the nightcap.

    The Buena Vista University softball team's first of two straight trips to the state of Illinois ended with a sweep for the second straight day, as the Beavers rolled past Lakeland University, 9-1, in five innings before notching a 4-1 victory over Concordia-Wisconsin to finish the day.

    ROCHESTER, Minn. - Freshman pitcher Ashtyn Miller picked up her first collegiate victory by throwing a complete-game shutout against Gustavus Adolphus to begin the day for Buena Vista, but the Beavers couldn't hold the lead in its final game of the day as St. Catherine's rallied to pick up a 5-4 win.

    Buena Vista sophomore catcher Carlee Guyett was a First Team All-Region selection following her freshman campaign a year ago, and now prior to her second season, has been listed as one of 50 players on the Schutt Sports/NFCA Division III National Player of the Year for 2019.
