Men's Tennis Falls at Home to Neb. Wesleyan, 8-1

The Buena Vista men's tennis team was back in action on their home courts on Saturday morning, as the team hosted Nebraska Wesleyan in an Iowa Conference showdown. The Prairie Wolves held off BVU in all three doubles matches to get the day started and went on to hand BVU an 8-1 setback.

John Foss improved to 7-6 overall (2-5 IIAC) at No. 1 singles with a straight set, 6-4, 6-4, victory against Adam Olson.  He and doubles partner, Aaron Pluym were edged 8-5 while the Beavers were also edged, 8-6, at No. 2.

The Beavers dips to 4-12 overall (0-7 IIAC) and play host to Northwestern College (IA) on Thursday, April 26, at 4:00pm before closing out the regular season and the Iowa Conference season with a home match against the University of Dubuque on Saturday, April 29, at 10:00am.
