Scouting Reports:

Nebraska Wesleyan - The Prairie Wolves are playing their final contest of the 2018 season.  The team posted a season-high in total yards a week ago but came out on the wrong end of a 54-35 contest against the University of Dubuque.  NWU has one of the league's top running backs in Shaka Taylor who is closing in on 1,000 yards rushing for the season.  He takes the field for the final time, needing just one rushing touchdown to set a new school career record.  Quarterback Jonathan Taylor has passed for 17 touchdowns during conference play which is the third-highest total in the league.  The Prairie Wolves' lone conference win came two weeks ago against Luther (23-15).

Receiving: Shaka Taylor – 38 catches, 421 yards, 46.8 ypg, 4 TD

Buena Vista -  The Beavers are coming off of their bye week looking to close the season strong over the last two weeks.  They take the field today against the Prairie Wolves in search of their first American Rivers Conference victory of the year.  BVU was last in action two weeks ago when it fell at home 38-7 to Dubuque.  The team looks to continue building its balanced offense.  Quarterback Cole Miller is closing in on the program's all-time career touchdown mark while Eric Pacheco is closing in on single season yards and touchdown records.  In the running game, Josh Werge and Kobi Martin Jr. have been carrying the load with Miller also chipping in.  Werge has rushed for 261 yards on the year and three scores.  BVU is making its first trip to Lincoln since 1954.
