The Buena Vista baseball team saw its season come to an end on Friday afternoon, as it was eliminated from the Iowa Conference Tournament following an 11-4 loss to fourth-seeded Central College inside of Veterans Memorial Stadium.

BVU tried to fight its way back late in the game, getting two runs in the seventh, but that ended up being the game's final runs.

Freshman Brandon Wessels went 3-for-4 at the plate with an RBI with Tanner Truesdell going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a pair of runs scored. Joe Paletta and Alex Davis also tallied two base hits each, as the Beavers finished with 11 hits.
