Women's Cross Country Team Runs Strong at Loras College Invite

Buena Vista sophomore Katie Puls came in 12th out of 72 runners on Friday night to help lead the Beaver women's cross country team as it competed at the Loras College Invite.

Puls came to the finish line in 25:09 and was three minutes off the winning time.  It was a minute faster than her time from two weeks ago at the BVU Invite.

Kennedy Snyder was the next to cross for BVU in season best time of 27:39.  It was nearly a minute faster than her last time out during the Woody Greeno Invite back on September 17.

Tara Harris was close behind Snyder at 28:12 which was 30 seconds faster than two weeks ago.

Freshman Maya Rowe was slightly slower than two weeks ago while Veronica Tapia wrapped up the lineup in a time of 32:28.

The meet is the final regular season outing for the Beavers who will now have two weeks to prepare for the Iowa Conference Championships which they will play host to on October 29 out at Sunrise Pointe Golf Course in Storm Lake.  The women's race will begin at 11:00am.
