Men's Soccer Drops 4-0 Contest to End Season at Nebraska Wesleyan

The Buena Vista men's soccer team concluded its season on Tuesday night with a 4-0 Iowa Conference road loss at Nebraska Wesleyan.

Jake Kennedy scored a pair of goals midway through the first half for the Priairie Wolves as they took a 2-0 lead into the half.  Midway through the second period, NWU struck with two more goals which proved to be more than enough for its 10th win of the year.

Buena Vista had its chances but couldn't get the ball to find the back of the net, finishing with five of its eight shots on-goal.  Noah Bardwell had a pair of shots, including one on-goal to help lead the charge as five others finished with one shot on-goal.

Manuel Aguilar went the distance in-goal for the Beavers and did save nine shots.

Buena Vista has its season end at 4-13-1 overall, 1-7 in conference play.  The match was also the final one for five BVU seniors.
